Our cancer care programs meet the highest standards of excellence in healthcare, with national accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
We also take great pride in the high quality, personalized support that patients receive at our center. Education, ACS support classes, emotional support, as well as transportation services are available to patients and their families (in most of our surrounding communities) throughout diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

At South Florida Radiation Oncology (SFRO), we are committed to providing personalized, compassionate cancer care for all patients through early detection, diagnosis and advanced treatment options. We are sensitive to each patient's physical, psychological and emotional needs. To better meet those needs, we provide our services in a comfortable, friendly and open environment that provides and encourages education and emotional support. Why We Are Different
We are different in so many ways.
We founded SFRO with one fundamental principle in mind: to provide the most advanced cancer care in a comforting, patient-friendly environment. We invest heavily in advanced treatment systems and technologies. We invest in recruiting and retaining the very best medical professionals. And most importantly, we treat the whole patient by developing a comprehensive plan of care.
We are a freestanding radiation oncology center. That generally means lower co-pays for daily visits, which can add up to big savings for patients. Accessibility to the center is easy. Parking is easy. We proudly say there is little or no waiting time for daily treatments. There are no mountains of paperwork to fill out, no surprise bills and no corporate bureaucracy. We have a local, hassle-free billing department, where patients and physicians can access records in person or with a phone call. SFRO is physician owned and operated. That's an important distinction that benefits both the patient and the referring physician. We are the doctors who work here. Our staff takes great pride in their work and lives in the same communities as our patients as well as our physicians. |
